Heartland REACT assists during significant flooding event in Nebraska.
Over the past week, our hearts have been with all of those impacted by the historic flooding in Nebraska.
Our volunteers logged hundreds of hours monitoring the river, sandbagging, and establishing emergency evacuation shelters.
Victims in the Riverside Lakes area commented that they were so grateful for REACT being able to assist, and the damage was much less than if there were no sandbags in place.
We would like to thank our Volunteers for their tireless efforts during this event.
