5:50PM Radar Update: Good news for those with outdoor evening plans; we have a break in the activity for a few hours. We do anticipate more storms to develop close to or just after dark. These could become severe and continue through the overnight hours.
Scattered thunderstorms return to the region Tuesday. A couple of those storms could produce hail or damaging winds, especially between 4 PM and 10 PM.
Storms remain possible this afternoon through the overnight hours, with isolated to scattered storms expected initially. Severe storm risk has increased across southeastern Nebraska, largely south of I-80.
We're starting to see a few showers and weak storms pop up and quickly weaken in far eastern Nebraska/southwest Iowa. Most of you will stay dry, but but a few lucky folks may see a little bit of moisture.
